VII CIEPC

Protocol and ceremony throughout history

The Institutional Studies Research Group | INSTUREG (formerly the Research Group on the History of Legal and Political Thought) of the Faculty of Law of the National University of Distance Education (UNED) in Madrid (Spain), with the sponsorship of the Society of Institutional Studies (SEEII), the Master's Degree in Protocol of the UNED and the Modular Program in Communication, Protocol and Public Relations, announce the VII INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON CONTEMPORARY PROTOCOL (CIEPC), which under the motto "Protocol and Ceremonial through History", and under the auspices of the Faculty of Law of the UNED, will be held in person in the Assembly Hall of the Faculties of Law and Political Science (Calle Obispo Trejo, nº 2, ground floor, 28040 Madrid) on September 21, 22 and 23, 2022.

After six calls for proposals aimed at consolidating transdisciplinarity by addressing the relationships between this eminently legal discipline—protocol—and other scientific fields involved in its transversality, we are now at the point of focusing on the last of the unexplored sciences that will allow us to solidify our scientific recognition. Therefore, in this call for proposals, we have decided to approach the subject from a primarily historical perspective. Our main objective is to continue developing a space for convergence for researchers and research teams interested in building an International Network of Researchers for Scientific, Technical, and Innovation Cooperation on Ceremonial and Protocol, with an international and multidisciplinary character, in a project we have brought together under the name RED-PROTOCOLO.
