Protocol and ceremony in the post-Covid era

The Institutional Studies Research Group | INSTUREG (formerly the Research Group on the History of Legal and Political Thought), together with the Society of Institutional Studies (SEEII), are convening the VIII INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON CONTEMPORARY PROTOCOL (CIEPC), which under the motto "Protocol and ceremonial in the post-COVID era", and under the auspices of the Faculty of Communication of the University of Seville, will take place on September 20 and 21, 2023.

Since our first Congress in 2014, we have grown in international reach, participation, and quality. At this Congress, we will analyze how Protocol has evolved up to 2023, what changes have occurred, and what changes are necessary to meet the demands of the society in which we live, particularly after the COVID-19 pandemic, which had such a significant impact on protocol and event organization. Once again, we aim to consolidate a multidisciplinary approach to strengthen the transdisciplinarity we sought at the time and which is widely accepted by the scientific community. This approach brings together participants from communication, law, history, anthropology, sociology, and public relations, while also seeking collaboration with related disciplines.
